Fro Yo! Yoghies, Leeds

Back on the 14th February, Yoghies, a frozen yoghurt company in Leeds, launched their brand new sparkly venue in The Core shopping centre. I was inverted along to try it out and as a massive fan of Frozen Yoghurt, I was definitely in my element. There were so many incredible toppings and flavours to chose from. I went for a mixture of natural and toffee yoghurt, topped with raspberries, white chocolate and toffee sauce. I also had a layer of granola in the base. Absolutely Scrumptious!

Time for cake at Richmond Tea Rooms

Last weekend me and some of my blogging friends decided to test out the cake at Richmond Tea Rooms in Manchester. Located minutes away from Piccadilly train station, the venue is beautiful and very elaborately furnished. Inspired by Tim Burton the decor takes on an Alice in Wonderland theme. With a fabulous array of cakes to chose from and the longest list of teas, it is a place that I would highly recommend you put on your list if you haven’t yet been! Prepare for lots of pictures of mouth watering cake…

LFW: The Catwalk Edit

Last week I was invited to one of the pre LFW shows, The Catwalk Edit. It was held in the beautiful Chelsea Town Hall and the event was showcasing some new, up and coming designers. There was lingerie, nightwear, swim wear and evening wear and the event itself was an incredible experience. There was a catwalk at every hour and between each presentation, there was the opportunity to talk to the designers themselves, find out a little more about their designs and inspiration and browse their collections.

Dry Skin Remedy

So today’s post is all about skincare. Up until the last month I had really good skin. I was very lucky to only really suffer from the occasional spot. For some reason though, a few weeks ago my skin decided to go really dry. I’m talking EXTREME dry skin situation here. I felt like I was shedding!! As you can imagine, I was caught quite unaware and I had to change my daily skin care regime to try and tackle the problem.

Lent and Overnight Oats

I hope everyone enjoyed pancake day yesterday! It was the perfect excuse for me to indulge in Nutella and not feel too bad about it. Today is the first day of lent and I thought I would write a post about my plans for this year. The biggest difficulty for me with lent is that my birthday falls in the middle of it. This means that I am always very reluctant to give anything up as I don’t want to have to miss out on birthday cake/chocolate etc! This year I have found a way around this so lets talk lent!

We had the opportunity to browse their gorgeous collection of clothes whilst being treated to champagne and personal cupcakes. I fell in love with loads of their clothes but somehow managed to resist temptation to buy anything!

Last thursday I was invited to join the team at Ed’s Hair in Manchester to celebrate their 4th birthday. We were treated like VIPs with champagne on entrance, our hair was washed and styled and there was a whole array of delicious food and entertainment!

I really enjoy eating clean and experimenting with healthy recipes. There are endless possibilities to be creative with healthy and raw ingredients and I love trying out new things. I haven’t really posted any recipes in ages and this is something I really want to start doing more. I wrote about the two ingredient pancakes way back in October when I first started blogging (you should definitely try these btw) and I would love to start writing about this kind of thing again.
