Hi Lovelies!
Last weekend me and some of my blogging friends decided to test out the cake at Richmond Tea Rooms in Manchester. Located minutes away from Piccadilly train station, the venue is beautiful and very elaborately furnished. Inspired by Tim Burton the decor takes on an Alice in Wonderland theme. With a fabulous array of cakes to chose from and the longest list of teas, it is a place that I would highly recommend you put on your list if you haven’t yet been! Prepare for lots of pictures of mouth watering cake…
It felt like we were entering into a different world!
(Even the wash rooms were pretty!)
Now let’s talk cake! There were SO many incredible flavours to chose from. I probably took about half an hour to try and decide which one to have.
There was so much choice on the menu! You can even have an afternoon tea here, I would love to do that if I had a special occasion to celebrate. I decided to go for one of the milkshakes and then just save room for my cake.
Isn’t that just the prettiest, pinkest, cutest drink you have ever seen?!
Laura and Beth got tea and the cups and saucers were just so pretty…
It was then time for cake 😀 I went for the carrot cake and it was absolutely divine. The funniest thing was how many photos we all had to take before anyone could touch their food!
I had such a lovely time catching up with Dei, Beth and Laura!
(I fell in love with Dei’s matching lilac nails and rings!)
Have you ever been to Richmond Tea Rooms? I loved it so much and it was a nice day off from 80:20 Vegan lifestyle that I am trying to employ throughout lent!
