LFW: The Catwalk Edit

Last week I was invited to one of the pre LFW shows, The Catwalk Edit. It was held in the beautiful Chelsea Town Hall and the event was showcasing some new, up and coming designers. There was lingerie, nightwear, swim wear and evening wear and the event itself was an incredible experience. There was a catwalk at every hour and between each presentation, there was the opportunity to talk to the designers themselves, find out a little more about their designs and inspiration and browse their collections.

I fell in love with some of the beautiful fabrics showcased in the swimwear collections. I am so excited to start planning my summer wardrobe now!

I love the bright shades in Artemis South’s new collection. I loved their previous collection of swimwear which was very metallic, silver and white but the hot pinks, Mediterranean blues with the bright whites of the new collection are fabulous.

The designs and patterns in the swimwear collection from Mona were just beautiful.

The first highlight for me was the evening wear collection from Marlene H’Couture. The tailoring was just incredible and I love the monochrome theme.

I also fell in love with the collection from Jada for similar reasons. I love the collection of camel and cream colours, the clothes were beautiful.

Complete with the stunning interior, great DJ and flocks of cameras, it was such a great experience to be present at The Catwalk Edit.
