I absolutely love being a student in Leeds. It is such an incredible city, so lively and full of things to do. At heart though, I am a country girl. I grew up living in a little village full of sheep and fields so naturally, returning here on the train always evokes fond memories of home and family life

Beauty Matters, Garforth

A crisp white finish, mood lighting, immaculate cleanliness, ambience and beautiful flowers… surely the main ingredient for the dream beauty salon? I was invited to the Beauty Matters launch party last week and I was completely won over by the incredible interior. It ticks all the boxes for the ideal salon and I could definitely see myself returning there to be pampered. Located in the lovely little village of Garforth, it is only a short train journey away from Leeds.

Hotel Chocolat’s Roast and Conch

I absolutely love chocolate. Simple as that. So, on discovering that Hotel Chocolat have their very own restaurant and that one of them was in Leeds, it quickly rose to the top of my list of places to try out. My parents and I went along for lunch to celebrate my 21st birthday. The Roast and Conch experience is so much more than just a meal, with cocoa incorporated into every dish you’re in for an absolute treat. Chocolate lovers, you need to come here!

Ladbrokes Cheltenham Race Night

I was recently catching up on some of my favourite blogs and I came across the following sentence by Dei: ‘Who says your internet friends can’t be real friends?! It’s definitely not true :)’ I love this so much. It completely sums up one of my favourite things about blogging – you can make some amazing friends through it and I certainly have!

So when Ladbrokes invited me to their Cheltenham Race night along with some of my really close blogging friends, I was so excited, mainly at the prospect of seeing them all again! The event was held at Revolution in Manchester and it proved the such a beautiful venue.

‘It’s time to trust my instincts, close my eyes and leap’ – Here is just a little collection of photographs of the things I got up to in and around London amongst the chaos of the the Fashion Week. I was lucky enough to win 4 tickets to see my all time favourite musical, Wicked. I went along with some very close friends and we had the most incredible evening there. If you haven’t seen Wicked I cannot recommend it enough, it is so emotional and spellbinding whilst displaying all the best of elements of a musical – incredible costumes, dancing and the most powerful voices you will hear!
