Even in the most touristy of places, there are always secret courtyards and little passages to be discovered.  Hidden away in Neal’s Yard, amongst the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden lies the Wild Food Cafe. In contrast to the monotonous grey buildings and shops surrounding this concealed square, walking into Neal’s Yard, you are hit by an abundance of colour and life.

The Wild Food Cafe serves gourmet plant based food and encompasses the magical atmosphere of Neal’s Yard. The cafe exudes a friendly and relaxed vibe and I felt immediately at home. There is a huge selection of incredible sounding food. From starters, drinks and burgers to cakes and puddings, there is so much choice. The best thing? All of the food is organic, plant based and bursting with nutrition. I decided to go for the Rhubarb Tart, complete with a drizzling of cashew custard. Delicious. Jugs of water are provided on the tables – what a great idea!

I fell in love with this enchanting little restaurant. There are so many more things I want to try out here.

Wild Food Cafe, I will be back!
